In 2015, University of Victoria’s Social Dimensions of Health program hosted its first Student Conference. In 2017, SDH students organized the bi-annual conference. For 2019, following the tradition of student interdisciplinary health inquiry SDH current students are organizing the third bi-annual conference to be held on April 5, 2019.
The SDH Student Conference is an important opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as community partners and members, to gather together, showcase their research and/or community engagement and discuss the intersections of health within all disciplines.
